Providing long term value for regional development
In October 2025, I joined the promotional team for Kotohira as a freelancer. I provided written and photographic content for use on nomadkotohira.com, a website that promotes Kotohira to digital nomads and other travelling online professionals.
This project was part of a collaboration between Alt_ Chiang Mai and Kotori, two coliving initiatives aimed at attracting digital nomads. Its goal is to establish Kotohira as a new destination for online professionals that seek to engage more with local people and their culture as they travel.

In addition to writing promotional blog content, I also delivered long term, tangible value to the region by designing a new cycling route along the northwestern coastline of Kagawa.
This new cycling roundtrip starts and ends in Kotohira and explores the coast between Kanonji city and Takuma. It takes cyclists around the Takumacho peninsula before turning inland to visit the Zentsuji temple complex and completing the loop in Kotohira.
The route is now featured on nomadkotohira.com as an activity that not only offers value to Kotori’s bike rental service, but offers long-term, sustainable value to the region and Kotohira as a digital nomad destination as well.
