In 2019, Dutch print magazine ‘TeVoet’ published this story in their Januari issue.
The article described two hiking routes I walked the year before, through Andalusia’s Tabernas desert and across the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
Foregoing my usual informal tone, I adapted to TeVoet’s more journalistic tone of voice. For readers eager to recreate my adventure I added in a section containing practical information on both trails.
